Bay Springs Country Club opened as a semi-private club in 1965. The 9-hole golf course was designed by engineer L.A. Conerly with assistance from charter members Arnold Hemphill, Talmon Eddleman, Elton Montgomery Robert H. “Bob” McFarland and Ted Adcock.
Our course offers tee areas for men, women and seniors age 60 and up. A new driving range is located north of the #1 fairway. In addition to the Bermuda fairways and greens, family members can also enjoy the double lighted tennis courts, swimming pool, and fishing ponds. A certified lifeguard is on duty at the pool 6 days a week from May thru August until schools are back in session.
A new pavilion has been built above the pool which houses “The Dive” a poolside snack bar and grill. Picnic tables are available here where families can enjoy the food or just relax out of the sun and watch either the pool or the tennis courts. The pavilion and pool are available for receptions, parties, meetings and reunions.
